Marc D'Agusto: or Myspace Executive
Director
Marc D’Agusto is a dedicated career artist, teacher, manager and
entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience as an art director, graphic designer,
web designer and corporate educator with various organizations and agencies
in New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia. He studied the Arts at the College
of NJ and received his BFA in 1994. He has additionally continued to engage
his muse as a fine artist for 20 years in such diverse areas as public airbrush
showcases and both paintings and sculpture in public and private venues in
the NY/NJ region. He has managed his own business as a freelance art director
as well as developed community projects in adventure programming and the creative
arts including music and theater. Marc is currently the director of a private
school art program for both elementary and secondary school levels, while also
teaching at the secondary school level. He motivates, challenges and nurtures
students to develop artistic talents that may yet be unexplored. Marc is passionate
about fostering students’ abilities to see the world as it is while exploring
how it is perceived. He is gifted in unleashing individuals’ personalities
in their art, encouraging creativity through the exploration of their worlds.
Whitney D'Agusto Director of Programming
Whitney D’Agusto has been involved with Gravity since its inception.
Starting out as a volunteer for special projects, Whitney now runs all of the
programming for Gravity, including the Private Instructional Program and Creative
Workshop Series. Currently, Whitney is a nine-year veteran teacher in a local
public school, where she has had extensive experience working as a team member
and leader. Due to her training in Adventure Based Counseling from Project
Adventure Inc. located in Massachusetts, Whitney has continued to hone her
team building skills. Educated at Messiah College, earning her BA in English,
she also attended Fairleigh Dickinson University earning a second certification
in English as Second Language. Whitney is now a Masters candidate in Literature
with a concentration in writing at Drew University. During her career, Whitney
was nominated several times as Who’s Who Among America’s Teaches,
as well as a Disney Hand Teacher of the Year Program. Aside from teaching Creative
Writing at her school, Whitney also runs the set-up and programming for their
annual Open Mic Nite at her school.
Claudine Dotzman or Myspace Director
of Operations
Claudine Dotzman comes to Gravity with extensive experience in both the
educational and corporate arenas. She has spent several years developing processes
and procedures for employee benefits for several fortune 500 companies. She
has additionally conducted in-depth needs analyses to discover what specific
training needs were warranted to support clients. She has also developed and
delivered customized training materials based on these processes and procedures.
Claudine's true passion lies in the art of the written word. She has dedicated
her life to the study and artistry of literature in both English and Spanish.
She holds degrees in literature and language in both Spanish and English from
Binghamton University and Columbia University. She has published short stories,
poetry and short biographical pieces. Claudine teaches high school World Languages
and Literature in Somerset, NJ. She is also currently writing her first novel.
Claudia Guardado-Wittel - Director
of Development
Claudia comes to Gravity with a passion for dance and theatre combined
with extensive experience in the field of Development. Over her career she
has been responsible for all phases of development. Her talent and commitment
have resulted in raising $2.5 million as the Director of Development for a
private college in central NJ. She has instituted innovative programs aimed
at increasing visibility, community awareness and fund raising.
Claudia brings her experience to Gravity as Director of Development. In this
role she will be integral to Gravity’s growth and ability to serve the
needs of its community.
Joseph Dotzman- Director
of Finance
Joseph Dotzman comes to Gravity with a 15 year career in operations and
financial management. He holds a dual degree in Operations Research and Industrial
Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Syracuse University. When
not working with Gravity, Joe is Director of Manufacturing for a Fortune 500
consumer products company.
Joe has traveled the world and done business in North America, Australia, Europe,
and Asia. He has run divisions with multi-national operations. Previously,
Joe worked for General Motors and the BOC Group, a global chemical products
corporation. Joe brings his corporate experience to Gravity as Director of
Finance. He will ensure that funding is best used to further Gravity’s
objectives and serve the needs of its community.
